Acting Deputy Chief of Mission – Sarah Spodek

Sarah Spodek joined the Foreign Service in 2002, and has served in Wellington, Baghdad, Suva, Abu Dhabi, Kingston, Kampala, Beirut, and Damascus. She was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco, and worked as a business consultant before joining the Foreign Service. Sarah has a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in History. She speaks some Arabic, Spanish, and French. Sarah is enjoying living and working in New Zealand, and is joined by her husband and two children.
