Passport services are not available on weekends or on New Zealand or U.S. holidays.
Applicants Age 15 or Under Without Both Parents Present
The DS-3053 is the Statement of Consent for Issuing a Passport to a Child and the DS-5525 is the Statement of Special Family Circumstances.
Adult Passport Renewal (DS-82)
Renew an existing passport issued to you when you were aged 16 or older.
Report and Replace Lost/Stolen Passport (DS-64 & DS-11)
Report a passport lost or stolen and replace it.
You can fill out the correct form, or find information about your passport status at https://travel.state.gov.
You must provide one photo on a white background with your passport application. Our photo policies apply to adults and children. We have a few exceptions to our photo policies for infants.
Emergency passport services will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you have an urgent need to travel and are in need of an emergency passport, please email AucklandACS@state.gov with details of your request.
From April 16, 2021, U.S. Consulate Auckland began accepting online fee payments for adult U.S. passport renewal applications. Paying online allows you to mail your application to the U.S. Embassy without the need to apply in person

All in-person ACS services are by appointment only. The Embassy and Auckland Consulate are closed weekends and U.S. and New Zealand public holidays.

If you have a life or death emergency related to a U.S. citizen, please call us at the phone number listed above. Press 0 to speak with a person from our Special Citizen Services unit. If the call is after hours (after 4pm), you will be routed to a duty officer who may not work in the consular section and may direct you to contact our section during business hours.
If you have an emergency passport request for travel commencing in the next 4 weeks, please write to us at AucklandACS@state.gov with the Subject line: Emergency Passport Request. In the body of the email, please include the name, DOB, passport number, contact phone, and the confirmed dates of travel.
