Consular Reports of Birth Abroad:

The payment link is part of the online application process.  Please follow the instructions on our website.  Applicants applying for both a passport at the same time as a Consular Report of Birth Abroad should ONLY pay for the Consular Report of Birth Abroad in advance.  Payment for passport applications filed with Consular Reports of Birth Abroad should be paid in person.  Please note that no cash is accepted at the Consulate.

All other services:

All other services, including notarials, must be paid for in person at the Consulate in Auckland using a credit card.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Due to local banking regulations, the Consulate General in Auckland only accepts cash payments in emergency situations.  All consular applicants needing to make payments at the Consulate will need to pay by credit card.  This applies to payments for all consular services, including all passport and visa fees collected at the Consulate.

Consular fees can be paid with any credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, or Diner’s Club).  U.S. debit cards are also accepted only if they carry the “VISA” symbol.

Credit cards should be signed by the bearer and the bearer must be present.  We cannot accept PIN or payWave only cards.
