Security Message for U.S. Citizens: Demonstration

The Ethiopian and New Zealand Youth organization has planned a demonstration in front of the U.S. Consulate General in Auckland from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, 25 August 2016. They anticipate about 50 people in attendance.

To the extent possible, the Consulate has suggested that official personnel limit entry and exit of the building during this time period given that the demonstration may disrupt foot traffic in the area. The Consulate will be open during its normally scheduled business hours for all services and does not foresee any interruption to regular business operations.
