Over a few days in Auckland, Ambassador Brown talked U.S. policy with constituents of MP David Seymour and the U.S. Consulate’s Youth Council, met with leaders from Auckland’s Sikh and Jewish communities, checked out a local Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality company’s tech, celebrated US-NZ business ties at the American Chamber of Commerce annual awards dinner, and shot some hoops with NZ Breakers CEO Matt Walsh. What a great visit!

The Ambassador and Gail also spent time in Tauranga which included a tour of the Robotics Plus Works in Tauranga (automation in ag-tech) and  then Ballance Agri-nutrients at Mt Maunganui – who have been using U.S. company Bradley Pulverizer (Allentown, PA) equipment for last 60 years! Gail and Ambassador Brown also had a chance to catch up with members of Tauranga Youth Search and Rescue, who recently returned from training in the USA.
