The Interview

After you have completed the steps on the Immigrant Visa Process on usvisas.state.gov, including paying the necessary fees and submitting the required immigrant visa application form (DS-160), Affidavit of Support, and supporting documents to the National Visa Center (NVC), they will review your file for completeness. Once your case becomes qualified for an interview, NVC will work with us to schedule an interview appointment for you.

You can learn more about the interview process on usvisas.state.gov.

Interviews are by appointment only.  Your K-1 fiancé(e) visa interview will be scheduled for you by the U.S. Consulate General in Auckland, upon receipt of your file from the National Visa Center (NVC).  Please bring a copy of your appointment letter to your interview.  You will not be admitted more than 15 minutes prior to the time shown and arriving too late may result in the cancellation of your appointment. You can expect to be at the Consulate for approximately two to three hours.
